About Your Job:
As
the Senior Finance Assistant, based in Kuwait you will be responsible
for accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
You will undertake accounting functions for assigned areas of responsibilities and ensure associated accounting is accurate complete and accrual based. You will ensure that all target dates are met with timely submission of reports to Head Office and that transactions are verified and recorded in line with financial policies and procedures.
Fluency in English is essential for this role.

Accountabilities:

Preparation of monthly payroll in accordance with local laws and Qatar Airways policies.

Proper recording and timely payments of invoices after due verification.

Managing accounts receivable.

Preparation of vendor reconciliations.

Monitoring bank transactions on daily basis and timely recording.

Assist in preparation of monthly accruals/provisions.
-
Assist in preparation of monthly management reports and reconciliations
-
Prepare monthly cash flow reports
- Annual asset verification
About You:
The successful candidate will ideally have:- A Bachelors’ degree in Finance/accounting
- Experienced - minimum 3 years of job-related experience required
- Job related experience – airline experience is highly desirable
- Experience of spreadsheets, MS Excel and ERP systems
- Knowledge of local regulations/taxes, including payroll taxes, VAT as well as Oracle Financial
- Ability to communicate confidently with colleagues in Head Office and to work under pressure
- Fluency in English language is essential to perform in this role.
