About Your Job: You will be providing support to the  Corporate Sales Manager (CSM) and the Corporate Sales Executives (CSE) in AU & NZ to achieve and exceed annual sales targets. You will be responsible for the creation and delivery of MI reports to track and identify the performance of both global and locally contracted clients, including CSE activities to identify the actions undertaken to address any underperformance.
You will be the local product champion for the SME product and QMICE engaging with both head office and local stakeholders. You will provide continuity of administrative functions for corporate segment, ensuring proper documentation and governance as well as management of corporate systems and databases and co-ordinate and manage Qatar Airways corporate hospitality opportunities.

Key accountabilities include:

  • Ensure prompt communication and/or response to corporate partners regarding queries on contracts, fares, products and exploit consequent new sales opportunities
  • Maintain and develop business relationships with existing corporate partners, clients & customers via telephone calls and emails
  • Represent QR at corporate events, conferences and sponsored events when required
  • Take full ownership of the SME product in Australia and New Zealand under the supervision of the CSM, including maintenance and accuracy of the corporate systems and databases, with a specific focus on ensuring integrity of data and governance via proper documentation
  • Co-ordinate and communicate changes to the SME product and QMICE product and opportunities in line with Head Office initiatives. Provide insight and recommendations to improve the product locally
  • Gather other airline schedules, practices, events and other activities with potential for QR concern and recommend corrective action
  • Develop, maintain and deliver a bi weekly and monthly corporate reporting suite. Data to include but not limited to revenue data from internal QR systems and weekly sales activities from Galaxy, and from these reporting suites, analyse and provide insight into changes and opportunities for QR to take corrective action on underperforming clients.
  • Work with marketing and e-commerce locally and QR Head Office to proactively engage with AU/NZ based corporate Privilege Club members to create advocates for QR
  • Work with marketing and e-commerce locally to assess the ROI from local and national corporate activities including chambers of commerce
  • Proactively engage potential customers by direct prospecting through a customer engagement call plan
  • Work with CSM and chambers, associations and sponsor partners to assess and secure new member potential for direct contracting with QR
  • Co-ordinate and organise the corporate FAM activity across AU & NZ

About you: 


To be successful in this role, you will need a trade or vocational qualification combined with a minimum of three years of job-related experience.  You will have worked in a pressurised environment with a focus on targets and revenue generation.  You will be a confident and articulate communicator with strong organisational skills and the ability to identify and exploit sales opportunities.
