In this position, the responsibilities include, but not limited to, the following:
· Provide positive guest interactions while serving guests in a friendly and efficient manner
· Prepare table by laying lines, crockery, cutlery, etc.
· Take order from guests, obtain food from the kitchen, serve food and beverages, remove items such as cutlery, etc, that are not required for the meal
· Check the table during meal, empty ashtrays, refill water as necessary and replenish any additional requirements of the guests
· Perform basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by the supervisor
About You:
To be successful in this role, you should have:
· High School Qualification (e.g. O level, Year 10, min. compulsory education)
· Preferably 2 years of job- relevant experience in a food and beverage environment
· Passion for food service
· Ability to carry a large tray with food from the kitchen to guest tables
· Effective communication skills- can converse proficiently in English
· Exceptional customer service skills
· Ability to foster teamwork among team members
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
